Marines with the Battalion Landing Team (BLT) attached with the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) conducted training in mountainous terrain. The training teaches the Marines how to successfully maneuver over rocky and rough areas as well as how to move over mountains with the ability to still fight.
